Tim Preuss is a political commentator who has been hosting The Tim Preuss Podcast, a libertarian podcast that dissects the news with great insight and humor, since January 2015. He graduated from high school in 2008, and immediately began working in the private sector. Despite neglecting to earn any degree, Tim became a member of the Mises Institute after he found himself devouring the work of Ludwig von Mises, F.A. Hayek, Murray Rothbard and among other greats from the school of Austrian economics. His co-host, Ande Macpherson, holds a bachelors degree in economics, and former co-host, Meghan Neimon, offered a double major in international relations and political science.
In early 2017 Tim resigned from his career to begin focusing on podcasting and writing full time. The show moved from a twice a week podcast, to Monday-Fridays, never missing a beat. Since the podcast’s inception, it has grown in both quality and audience, currently holding a five star rating on iTunes, and is today a benchmark for upstart independent podcasts wishing to offer new opinions into the world of politics. Guests have included world renowned libertarian minds such as Jeffrey Tucker, Walter Block, and Christopher Whalen. The show is nearing its 300th episode, and shows no sign of slowing down. It is available on iTunes, Stitcher, nearly every podcast app for Apple and Android phones, and is featured on the Talk America Radio network.
